1. Customer Focus

• Process general customer and potential customer enquiries including lead generation, basic product information, request for product literature, technical and Material Safety Data Sheets as required.
• Sales order entry into computer system, informing customer of stock availability, tracking and, when necessary, expediting orders through the supply chain, including sample orders.
• Work together with credit control to ensure timely collection of accounts receivable.
• Proactively support the Sales Engineers, Management and customers in a consistent manner
  Manage small accounts to sales defined criteria.

2. Commercial Awareness

• Forging and maintaining of customer, sales, and other departmental links to promote co-operation, good communication and good customer service.
• Provision of accurate reports, information and other relevant data, communicating account information and activity to Sales Engineers including provision of forecast.
• Participate in CSR and Sales meetings as required to share information, issues and concerns.

3. Quality Standards

• Ensure that the highest appropriate standards of working practice are maintained.

• Experience in customer service
• Fluency in English is essential, other European langages are an asset
• Knowledge of export and SAP are an asset
• Excellent communication skills, particularly via the telephone
• Flexible, ability to prioritize and to cope with deadlines
• Team worker, who can also work unsupervised under own initiative to high standards

• Experience in a high quality customer service department
• Varied function, working in different customer service departments covering different regions
• Temporary contract of minimum 6 months
